FAQ
Workspaces, memory, privacy, data, and whether you need to code.
Do I have to pick a workspace first?
No. Without one you can still use Messages (help assistant), Contacts, workspace collaboration, and Me. Agents, the skill center, apps, workflows, and most capabilities need a workspace.
How is memory different from knowledge documents?
Knowledge documents are writing you prepare. Memory is preferences and decisions that settle from conversation. Team material goes in workspace knowledge. Personal detail stays in memory.
Can colleagues see my chats?
Not by default. Sessions and personal memory are per account. A workspace shares team knowledge, apps, skills, and authorized data — not private chats.
Is asking the business database safe?
A data connection must be on, and people must be authorized. Day-to-day work uses predefined queries. Writes can require approval. Secrets stay on the server.
Do I need to program?
Not for everyday use. Apps can start from templates. Agents are mostly written instructions. You can also improve skills and UI through conversation. Embedding into an existing system is work for the integrating team.
How is time shown?
Default is Beijing time, a Chinese date, and 24-hour time. Change it under Me → preferences → time. Each person has their own setting.
Which clients are supported?
Web and mobile, depending on the deployment. Embedded assistants work on host web pages.
