From content already discussed in this conversation (plus extra requirements), the assistant generates a laid-out Word file (.docx) in one pass: header, heading levels, tables, summary cards, tinted notes — and lets you pick a document style before send.
What you can do
- You state topic and sections; the assistant generates a downloadable Word file. Unspecified paper is A4 portrait; you can say “use A3”, “A5”, “landscape”.
- Shares the same platform styles as presentations and Excel (preview by popular, report, training, paper, formal, creative).
- Fits monthly reports, analysis notes, external minutes that need to “look presentable”.
How to use
- In
Messagesselect a work agent (Office document tools must be enabled). - Tap Write a document above the composer and pick a style. If you already discussed what to write, send as-is; for large paper, landscape, or only certain sections, add that after, e.g. “use A3”.
- A brand-new conversation with nothing to write yet: add title, period, which sections (summary, detail tables, notes).
- After generate, open
.docxfrom the download link in the reply.
Example:
Write a July annual-leave / comp-time analysis Word in corporate blue: monthly summary first, then two tables for annual leave / comp time, then three analysis points.
Where styles come from
Two kinds:
- Platform styles: in-house color and layout, commercially usable.
- Workspace styles: you or a colleague upload a
.docxto the Asset library (type Document style) and publish; it then appears under Write a document. Applying generates a new file and does not change the library original. Steps: asset-library notes.
