Create and rename

Tell the help agent “help me create a workspace”. It asks for a name; if you do not provide one, it uses the default My workspace. You can include the name in one sentence, e.g. “create a new workspace, DEMO”. If that name already exists, it uses My workspace 2 and tells you. After it succeeds, switch to it from the top workspace dropdown. You do not need a workspace selected first, and you do not need to click the page yourself.

To rename, just say it, e.g. “rename My workspace 2 to Compliance”. The assistant renames it and replies with the new name. You do not need to switch to that workspace first, and you do not need the settings page. If the name does not match, it lists workspaces you can rename and asks which one. Only the creator can rename.

You can also create on the page:

  • With no workspace yet, the Messages empty state has Create a workspace, which immediately creates My workspace, or Join a workspace to enter a number and request to join.
  • Open Workspace collaboration (click: Go to Workspace collaboration).
  • Fill in a workspace name at the bottom of the page and create.
  • Or click: Create a workspace (focuses the name field).
  • The creator usually has admin rights for that space (organization policy applies).
  • After you create or newly enter a workspace, a work agent named Start appears and its conversation opens.

How do I create a workspace? Tell the help agent “help me create a workspace”. Page clicks are a fallback.

Switch, rename, and delete

Tell the help agent and it will do it:

  • Switch: “switch to Compliance”
  • Delete (creator only, confirms first): “delete workspace Compliance”
  • Leave (non-creators, confirms first): “leave the current workspace”

You can also do it on the page: click the current workspace name in the top bar to switch quickly; in Workspace collaboration rename or delete an existing workspace. Delete cannot be undone; confirm carefully.

Workspace knowledge base

  • After a workspace is selected, on the collaboration page tap Manage workspace knowledge base.
  • This is team-shared material: every member’s agents in this workspace consult it in chat.
  • After you change Markdown, run Generate index with AI (or Force regenerate) on the knowledge editor so retrieval matches the latest text.
  • Bulk migrate: at the top of the knowledge editor you can upload a folder, upload an archive (zip/rar, auto-extracted), or download an archive. Import/export apply to the current browse location (the whole tree at the root). Only .md and index.json; after copying from another environment, Generate index with AI.
  • If an article is needed only for certain file types or path scenes (e.g. frontend conventions), you may set optional paths on the index entry (e.g. /*.tsx). Do not** set this for general team policy. See Three layers of the knowledge base.

Asset library (templates and sheets)

  • After a workspace is selected, tap Asset library on the collaboration page to upload sheets, samples, and presentation/document/spreadsheet styles you made.
  • After the uploader publishes an office style, colleagues can pick it in chat when making a presentation / writing a document / making a spreadsheet. Applying it creates a new file and does not change the original.
  • Details: Asset library.

Document cabinet

  • After a workspace is selected, tap Document cabinet to keep finished reports and everyday files.
  • Auto-run scheduled tasks can tick save to the cabinet: keep each period or latest only.
  • Details: Document cabinet.

When to create a new workspace

  • When different teams, projects, or collaboration boundaries should stay isolated.
  • When you want chat, attachments, agents, skills, and team knowledge independent of each other.

Invite members and request to join

Tell the help agent (same permissions as the page):

  • Invite: “invite 13800001111 to this workspace” (creator or admin)
  • Accept / decline invites: “list pending invites”; “accept the invite”
  • Request to join: ask them for the workspace number, then say “request to join a workspace” and paste the number
  • Approve / decline requests: “list join requests”; “approve so-and-so’s join request”
  • Remove / change role: “remove 13800001111 from the workspace”; “make 13800001111 an admin”

You can also scroll down on Workspace collaboration and use Invite members, Request to join a workspace, and Pending workspace invites.

Human support (help agent)

Workspace admins can configure human support for the help agent at Workspace collaboration → Support queue. Left side of the page:

  • Requests: local pending list; jump to the support desk
  • Local support: on/off, who takes tickets here
  • Our group: this team creates a support group, members, and service scope
  • Authorize external groups: invite or approve an outside group by group number (no need to name local people)

Self-created work agents are configured at My agents → Manage → Human support. Details: Human support.
