In user language: in Apps → Manufacturing HR → Pay and social insurance, first define pay items and plans, then set each person’s job pay. Each month calculate payslips from attendance, overtime, piecework, and enrollment. After a raise is approved, job pay updates. Employees can acknowledge payslips in this app.

Tell the app assistant “list employee pay”, “calculate Wang Xiaomei’s March 2026 payslip” and it will do it. Below is the page how-to.

What the six tabs each own

After you open Pay and social insurance, one row of tabs; do one kind of work at a time:

TabWhat it storesTypical use
Employee payWhich plan this person follows, job pay, effective date, whether lockedHire salary
Pay plansPlan name, which items, how each is calculatedDifferent makeup for line vs QC
Pay itemsName + formula (job pay, overtime hours, absence deduction, enrollment, etc.)Plant-wide dictionary
RaisesOne adjustment amount, reason, effective date; can go through approvalRaise/cut; after pass, writes job pay

A demo plant’s first open includes a “line operator plan” (job pay + overtime − absence/late − employee SI), operator job pay, and a calculated March payslip.

How plans and items relate

  • An item is a formula, e.g. “overtime pay = approved overtime hours this month × unit price”.
  • A plan ticks which items to use, and can override unit price or a fixed amount.
  • Employee pay binds a person to a plan and fills that person’s job pay.
  • Calculate: walk that person’s plan item by item, plus that month’s attendance and enrollment, to get payslip detail and net.

A plan with no items ticked cannot calculate.

Shared actions: add, edit, save

Every tab: list first; add and edit in a dialog.

  1. Add: toolbar Add, fill the dialog, Save.
  2. Edit existing: hover the row, Edit, then Save.
  3. Above the list: filter, asc / desc by field.
  4. Without HR permission you do not see Save or row buttons.

Suggested order

  1. Confirm names and formulas in Pay items (the demo plant has common items).
  2. In Pay plans, tick items for that plan.
  3. In Employee pay, bind people to a plan and fill job pay.
  4. In Enrollment, fill base and employee rate (employer rate is informational, not deducted from net).
  5. For a raise: go through Raises; after pass, job pay auto-adjusts.
  6. With piecework, log pieces and unit price in Piecework first.
  7. Each month on Payslips pick the month, tap Calculate this person or Calculate all with pay set this month; after checking detail you can lock. Employees see makeup and tap acknowledge under Me → My payslip.

How to fill each page

Employee pay

  • Employee: someone on the roster.
  • Pay plan: must already exist under Pay plans.
  • Job pay: a number, e.g. 4800. Items that “take job pay” use this.
  • Effective date: from which day this number applies.
  • Lock: after “Locked” and save, you cannot change it; raises cannot write either.

Saving again for the same person updates the record. Use Raises for a raise trail.

Pay plans

  • Plan name, notes.
  • Included items: tick, optionally fill this plan’s amount/unit price (empty uses the item default).
  • To edit an existing plan: tap that list row.

Pay items

  • Code, name, type.
  • How it is calculated:

- Take employee job pay - Fixed amount - Overtime hours × unit price - Absence/personal-leave days × daily pay (deduct) - Late count × fixed amount (deduct) - Job pay × percent - By enrollment: base × employee rate (deduct) - Piece count × unit price

  • Default amount / unit price / percent: defaults for plans. Daily pay is “job pay ÷ scheduled days this month”; with no schedule, 21.75 days.

Absence includes missed punches and unpaid leave (e.g. personal leave). Overtime only counts approved hours.

Raises

  • Pick an employee, fill adjustment amount, effective date, reason, tap Submit (pending approval).
  • No raise workflow in Settings: submit passes immediately and changes job pay.
  • Approval ticked: pending; after complete, sync (done = pass and change job pay; cancel/fail = reject).
  • If pay is locked, a pass still cannot write — unlock first.

Payslips

  • Month as 2026-03.
  • Calculate this person / Calculate all with pay set this month: writes detail and net from the plan and attendance. Locked slips are not overwritten.
  • Preview first: look only, do not store.
  • Net (manual) + Save manual change: one-off correction; does not recalc detail.
  • After Lock you cannot change; employees see their slip and makeup under Me.

Enrollment

  • Insurance type, start month, contribution base (empty uses job pay), employee %, employer %.
  • When the plan ticks a “by enrollment” item, the employee portion deducts from net; the employer portion is notes only.

Who can change it, what the assistant can do

HR specialists or workspace owners can save and calculate. Others can only see lists.

You can tell the app assistant:

What you can use in production now

Working: bind plans to items and take values by formula; calculate detail and net from that month’s attendance, approved overtime, and employee SI; after a raise passes, job pay updates; payslips can lock; Me shows makeup.

Daily pay is spread over scheduled days. There is no nationwide differentiated SI policy or special PIT — you fill rates and bases in Enrollment.
